Seven film producers asked to see the original film script written by Hollywood writer but the eighth said ‘forget somebody else’s script if we like it we’ll write our own – let me read the book’ He was the Warner Brothers producer who did Harry Potter and Skyfall.
He read the book taking three days out of his hectic schedule then read it again to assess production issues – then wrote to say we should meet ‘to discuss all’ So pretty pent up waiting for the date – but they say nothing happens quickly in the film business.
Oh – and the other seven producers – none of them replied.
